HOLLOW CORING

From Monday 1st March, the bar and clubhouse closing time will be extended to 7pm (last orders 6.30pm)

MOTHERING SUNDAY AND EASTER SUNDAY

Restaurant bookings are now being taken for both Mothering Sunday (14th March) and Easter Sunday (4th April).

The cost is £16.50 per person and includes a three course carvery and coffee.

NOEL BOLAND - PGA Fellow Professional

Noel Boland has been awarded the status of 'Fellow Professional' of The Professional Golfers Association. This is a wonderful achievement for Noel who has a wealth of golfing experience and knowledge. His teaching and training methods have won him high regard. He coached Caroline Griffiths through her amateur career and onto the WPG European Tour and subsequently James Loughnane who played on the Sunshine Tour in Africa. 

In 1998 Noel was awarded the Toby Sunderland Award (pictured) which recognises an outstanding charitable act or contribution by a PGA Professional.

JAMIE TURNS PRO

Jamie Lee Casling

Following successful years as a Gloucestershire County Junior and then English Ladies golfer, Brickhampton Court’s Jamie Lee Casling has turned professional and we are delighted that she has decided to pursue her PGA training here at Brickhampton.

Jamie will now be teaching at the driving range as well as working in the shops.

BRICKHAMPTON JUNIOR VICTORY

COUNTY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brickhampton Court's Junior Team of Jake Phillips, James Heath, Ben Neville and Matt Cooke battled their way to a memorable victory to claim the best gross prize in the Junior County Team Championships at South Cerney Golf Club on Wednesday 26th August. The Mann Cup (nett competition) was also won by Jake Phillips, returning a nett 69. 

SHOP DUO SUCCESS!

Jake Phillips and James Heath have both enjoyed success of late.

Jake shot a gross 74 in the Junior Club Championship and beat Dan Hendry in a four hole play off to claim the crown and James finished a credible 5th in the Gloucestershire County Junior's Jeff Hall Order of Merit 2009. Both attend Hartbury College (golf studies)and work part time in the shop and range at Brickhampton Court.

BRAY WINS SENIORS DURNFORD TROPHY

On Wednesday 19th August, Brickhampton's Mike Bray battled a tricky 20mph breeze and very fast greens at Naunton Downs to shoot a gross 79 (nett 71) and claim the County Seniors Nett Durnford Salver.  Mike is one of Brickhampton's founder members and was Seniors Captain in 2002.  In very difficult conditions, only two other players managed to break 80. Mike is also captain of Brickhampton's County Seniors Scratch Team who are again doing well this year, having reached the quarter finals for the second time in three years.  

Started in the 1890's, the Durnford Salver is one of the County's oldest annual trophies. In 2006 Brickhampton Court hosted the event when members Dave Rose and Bob Gibb took the nett and gross prizes respectively.

LADIES CLUB CHAMPION 2009

JAMIE - LEE CASLING

Jamie-Lee Casling shot a gross 71 first round and 73 second round to grab her third Brickhampton Ladies Championship title in a row. 4 handicapper Jamie works in the shop and driving range at Brickhampton and is a member of the Gloucestershire Ladies Golf Team. This follows her recent successes of winning the Ladies Gloucestershire Intermediate Championships and flight 2 of the South West Ladies Championships.
