JUNIOR CAPTAIN'S DAY
Brickhampton Court Golf Club held its first Junior Captains Day at the weekend. A day run by the juniors for the members. 167 members took part in a Texas Scramble with nearest the pins and longest drive competitions on holes around the course. The juniors operated reception, starting on the first tee and the halfway house with the delights of 'pick-a-mix'! The Junior Captain Andy Casling challenged players to a nearest the pin competition on the 17th hole with players trying to double their money if they were successful (only a few were!)
The day concluded with a packed clubhouse for presentation of the prizes with the winners:
Academy members 9-hole flag competition was won by Connor Dickson who managed to use all his 50 allocated shots up to the 11th hole.

2nd place - 53 points (on countback) Kev O'Neill, Dave Mattock, Keith Ashenhurst
1st place - 53 points - Paul Kavanagh, Andy Boot, Jeff Wild with Andy Casling
The proceeds from the Tote of the Day and Junior Captains Challenge raised £157.00 which will be sent to the Junior Captains Chosen Charity 'Help the Heroes'.
