  • When parking, where possible leave one empty space between other cars.

  • There will be an interval of 8 minutes between start times.

  • Members can only book a time for themselves and playing partners.  Multiple start times cannot be reserved.

  • If you book as a single, another member will be able to book and join you.

  • There is a limit to 1 round per day per member as we are experiencing high demand and want to ensure all members have the chance to play.  This rule will be under constant review.

  • There will be a maximum of 2 people allowed in the clubhouse at any one time.

  • You must check in with the pro shop before going out to play.

  • There will be only one member of staff in the pro shop on shift at any one time so please be patient as the team will be managing inbound calls and members turning up to play.

  • Members must adhere to the white 2m social distancing markers when waiting to tee off at the SPA1st & 10th tee boxes.

DURING YOUR ROUND

  • Please always keep 2 meters apart, you must ensure you always maintain social distancing rules whilst on the course. This is vitally important on the tees and greens.

  • Please do not pick up stray balls.

  • Marshalls will be on duty to ensure safe practices are being adhered to.

  • Please do not touch the flagstick or hole cup on the green, amended local rules will be in place to accommodate you whilst playing the game.  Please refer to the amended local rules in COURSE SET-UP for details.

AFTER YOUR ROUND

  • Social distancing after your round is as important as it is during your round

  • The shoe cleaner will not be available for use.

  • The changing/shower facilities are not available.

COURSE SET-UP

  • Flag sticks will remain in place but must not be touched.  We have inserted piping into  the hole cup to prevent the ball from falling to the bottom.  This will ensure members are able to retrieve their golf ball without touching the flag or hole cup.

  • Bunker rakes will not be placed back into the bunkers.  Bunkers are deemed as 'Out of Play'

  • Ball Washers will not be available, and bins must not be touched.

  • Benches have been removed or sectioned off from around the course.

With the above in mind the following amended local rules will be in place as of Monday 10th August 2020:

Scores returned will be acceptable for handicap qualifying competitions (and supplementary scores)

Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16)
All moveable obstructions, including directional markers, distance markers and penalty area posts are immovable obstructions. Relief without penalty for interference with stance or swing (not line of play) under Rule 16.1

Flagsticks/Holes
Flagsticks are not to be removed.
The ball is considered holed if any part of the ball is below the surface of the putting green.

The penalty for a breach of these local Rules is the General Penalty

COURSE CONDITION

Golf courses have been permitted to carry out essential maintenance during the period of course closure with a reduced staff level.

  • Due to reduced maintenance, it will take some time for the course to return to normal condition (I can assure you it is very close).  The team have only been able to carry out essential maintenance as a result of the restrictions imposed.  Bunkers in particular have not been maintained during this time as this is not deemed essential maintenance.

  • Greens will be back to summer playing height and speed in a week to 10 days due to machine maintenance company being closed.

  • Please bear with us whilst we get the course back up to normal conditions.
