STROKE INDEX 11
HOLE 10 DESCRIPTION
The start to the back nine once again provides a good chance at birdie. A very slight dog leg right par 4 where a mid iron to the left half of a wide fairway is the safe option from the tee. Two large bunkers are positioned up the left but will only catch out a poorly pulled or overdrawn shot. The bad miss is right as trees will block your route to the green and a sliced shot may just find the drink. From the fairway you'll be left with some sort of wedge to a generous green. The wind can make clubbing tricky so you'll need control of trajectory to knock it close.
Driver is not always necessary for those wishing to take on the green, but trouble is very easy to find without full commitment. The lake which runs down the right of the hole is the primary concern and will make par a distant dream if you pay a visit. If you bail out and miss left, two pesky bunkers are waiting and will leave a long bunker shot. Further left is thick rough and trees which will make you wish you'd laid up. If you can avoid catastrophe and get yourself greenside, you'll be left with a simple chip and hopefully the perfect start to your inward nine. Take a deep breath, it's about to get tough.
