STROKE INDEX 13
HOLE 11 DESCRIPTION
The beginning of a daunting stretch of holes. The eleventh is a medium length par 4 which sweeps from right to left. A well placed bunker frames the left side of the dogleg and an array of trees sit down the right. The only shape that will do here is a draw to the right side of the fairway which is aided by the prevailing wind being from the right. Missing in the bunker isn't the end of the world, but any further left and you're finding a dense row of trees and maybe even out of bounds if you send one over the road. The better miss is right, but even then you're in the lap of the gods as to whether or not you have a clear line to the flag. If you can find this fairway, you can have anything from a mid iron to a wedge depending on your tee shot. The green is shallow but subtle in undulation, so a well controlled approach will find the target. Over club though and you'll have a very hard time saving par. A deceptively tricky hole.
