STROKE INDEX 5
HOLE 12 DESCRIPTION
This one's a brute. Despite being stroke index five, it's regarded by many as the toughest hole on the layout at a nudge over 460 yards. The hole doglegs slightly from right to left with the wind predominantly coming out of the left. A cluster of conifer trees hug the left edge of the fairway, making it nearly impossible to get home in two if you pull it off the tee. A grouping of trees and a hazard await down the right if you lose your drive on the wind. Long and straight is all that will do. A good tee shot at or just left of the marker will leave a mid to long iron into a green surrounded by mounds and hollows. The putting surface slopes mainly from left to right, so missing right will leave an uphill pitch and the best chance of scrambling a par. If you play this hole in regulation, you've done extremely well, but the hard work isn't over yet.
