STROKE INDEX 14
HOLE 4 DESCRIPTION
The fourth provides a good opportunity to pick up a shot, but still requires some solid ball striking. The tee shot can be shaped either way but a draw to hold up against the breeze will help to hold the fairway and provide the opportunity to get home in two. A pulled tee shot may find a wide bunker down the left and trees to the right will gobble up anything lost on the wind. The smart lay-up is to leave the ball short of the bunker on the right, leaving something of around 120 yards for your approach. If you choose to have a go at the green, you’ll need to be accurate to avoid trouble up the left. The bail is right if anywhere which will leave a tricky but doable pitch. The surface is long, with the only noticeable slope on the right side. Three good shots here and you’ll have a great chance at another birdie.
