STROKE INDEX 4
HOLE 8 DESCRIPTION
An often tricky par 4 which is largely down to a tough tee shot. The prevailing wind tends to be into and from the left which is every right handed golfer's nemesis. The rough up the left is thick and further left is jungle which you don't want to find yourself in or it could be a reload. Two staggered bunkers right and left pinch the fairway in, making it a visually tricky prospect. Just over the right fairway trap is a small group of trees surrounded by heavy rough which get a good workout. More thick high grass lurks up the left, although it's only reachable in a helping breeze. If you can find the fairway the approach is played to one of the longer and flatter greens on the course. Just be careful in the summer as it is also one of the firmest. Two very good shots here and you'll have a chance of a birdie, but only your best will do.
